Rev. Lurline Larmond Scholarship Fund
Purpose:
The Rev Lurline Larmond Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to college-bound high school seniors based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and an expressed interest in pursuing an education.
Award Criteria:
In order to be considered for the Rev Lurline Larmond Scholarship, candidates must be graduating high school seniors, attendees of the United Brethren Church and have applied to and accepted at a two-year or four-year college or university. Consideration will be given to academic achievement and financial need.
Students should submit a scholarship application on the form provided on the Rev Lurline Larmond Scholarship Fund website. If accepted, the awarded funds will be paid directly to the school. Distribution and award amount: Each applicant will be awarded a one-time payment of $1000.00
Distribution and award amount:Each scholarship awarded will be a one-time minimum payment of $1,000.00. Scholarships will be awarded once per year on an annual basis.
Maximum of four scholarships will be awarded each year which will be given on a first come first serve basis
Applying For The Scholarship
Visit the Rev Lurline Larmond Scholarship Fund website (https://larmondscholarshipfund.org/scholarship-application/). You may either:
a) Download and complete the scholarship application form and send the application and reference letters to the following e-mail address:larmondfund@gmail.com. or,
b) Execute and submit the form on the website.
In either case, the application must be accompanied by your official acceptance letter from your college.
